What is house plan or floor plan?
2D house plan or floor plan is a type of drawing or diagram that shows the layout of a property, space or house from above including location of Windows, doors, rooms, stairs and walls with measurement of walls size, room size and room name.
A 2D house plan can be a computer drawing, a sketch or blueprint.
With the help of house plan or floor plan we can give the house owner an idea of how the area will be utilised for one story or multi-story house plan in a proper way.

Today we are going to discuss a house plan of (20×35)Sqft or (6×10.6)Sqm.This post is merely for information or you can say for idea purpose and I am just trying to give you an idea for house plan, am not trying to challenge others regarding floor plan.I am giving my best to help you only .
This house plan of 20' by 35' 700 sqft North Facing Plot consisting of 2 flats with 1 bedroom, one common toilet bath, kitchen , drawing room or living room and parking on ground floor.
We will get same structure on first floor except parking area and kitchen. In place of parking we get balcony in front and in place of kitchen we get terrace.
So let's start.
The planning of any plot depends on the direction of the plot; the plot of the same size is planned in 4 different ways due to the 4 directions, because the architecture also changes on the same basis due to changing directions. For example, if we are planning an east-facing plot, then the remaining 3 directions will be planned differently for the west, north and south directions. The plan that we are going to share with you today is not according to the entire Vastu, it is actually based on the demand of a client . I am sure after reading this post , you will be able to plan the plot of any direction well, in this you will not learn vastu completely, but you will definitely be able to learn what is necessary for the planning of a house.

Kitchen
When planning any house, it's vital to initially decide the location of the kitchen, based on Vastu, south-east is the principal choice for the kitchen and north-west is the second option. Both choices are viewed as right from the kitchen esteem.we simply need to see which choice is better for this house plan . In this house plan we have given kitchen in the north-east direction.
In this 700 sq ft house plan, The size of the kitchen is 6'5"×8'10" ft . On the right side of the kitchen, there is living room. One window for kitchen is given toward parking area.
Staircase
One thing to be considered in mind while planning the staircase is that the stairs should always rotate in the clockwise direction of the clock, its reverse is considered wrong according to Vastu. The stairs should always be in odd numbers like 17,19,21. The size of a single stair should be something like this - the width of the stair - at least 3 ', the stair riser 6 ", the stair depth (tread) - 11" This is a minimum standard size, you can do more or less according to the size of the plot area.
In this 700 sq ft house plan, Starting from the main gate, there is a staircase(8'10"×11') of 3’ feet wide and on the right side of this house plan beside the staircase space for parking area has left.
In that parking space, there is the main door to enter the living room of the house.
Drawing Hall /Living Area
The drawing hall is primely made for the guests and there are two types of guests, one who comes to the inside of the house and one who doesn't come inside of the house and due to this I think the drawing room Should be at the entrance of the house.The drawing room should come at the time of entering. There should never be a drawing hall in the last part of the house.People will not be disturbed as we have given in this house plan.
In this 20 feet by 35 feet house plan, The size of the living hall is 11'9"×10'10.5" feet. It has one window toward parking area. After the living room, there is a common toilet bath.
Toilet and Bath Area
In this 20×35 house plan, The size of the common toilet bath is 8'2"x 5'8" feet. It has one window toward vent area.
Bedroom
In this 20 by 35 feet 1bhk (each floor)two story house plan, the size of bedroom is 10'×12'6" feet and it has one window toward vent area. Bedroom on the first floor has two windows one toward vent area and one toward terrace space.
Backside of house and beside bedroom, there is an open duct or vent area of 8'2"×6' feet for ventilation purposes. Ventilators are provided to bedroom and common toilet bath for ventilation purposes.
Terrace
On the first floor of this house plan we get terrace of standard size. we can use this as balcony for bedroom. It's door is given form bedroom. The measurement of this terrace area is 6'5×8'10".
Parking
In this floor plan we get parking space of (9'8×11') Sqft. In this parking area we can comfortably park one small car or two-three bikes.
The concept of simple forms continues in home glazing: a small number of windows and their size provide proper sunlight in all rooms, and not burdening with high costs of doors and windows.
