20×40 Square Feet Low Budget 2 Storey Small House Plan

 Today in this blog we come up with a Stunning small budget  two storey house and it's house plan or floor plan. Building cost of this house is  approax 16 lakh for  construction work only. (this cost may differ from area to area) The total area of this home is 800 square feet.

But before that let me clear you about house plan ,floor plan or ghar ka naksha.

What is house plan or floor plan?

2D house plan or floor plan is a type of  drawing or diagram that shows the layout of a property, space or house from above including location of Windows, doors, rooms, stairs and walls with measurement of walls size, room size and room name.

A 2D house plan can be a computer drawing, a sketch or blueprint.

With the help of house plan or floor plan we can give  the house owner an idea of how the area will be utilised  one story or multi-story house plan in a proper way. 

(20×40) SQFT  TWO STOREY HOUSE PLAN,GHAR KA NAKSHA OR FLOOR PLAN 

Today we are going to discuss a house plan of (20×40)Sqft or (6×12.1)Sqm.This post is merely for information or you can say for idea purpose and I am just trying to give you an idea for house plan, am not trying to challenge others regarding floor plan.I am giving my best to help you only .

This house plan of 20' by 40'  800 sqft East Facing Plot consisting of 2 flats with 1 bedroom with common toilet bath, kitchen , drawing room or living room, dining area and parking on ground floor. 

We will get same structure on first floor except parking area. In place of parking we get balcony in front.

So let's start.

The planning of any plot depends on the direction of the plot; the plot of the same size is planned in 4 different ways due to the 4 directions, because the architecture also changes on the same basis due to changing directions. For example, if we are planning an east-facing plot, then the remaining 3 directions will be planned differently for the west, north and south directions. The plan that we are going to tell you today is not according to the entire Vastu, it is actually based on the demand of a  client  . After seeing this , you will be able to plan the plot of any direction  well, in this you will not learn Vastu completely, but you will definitely be able to learn what is necessary for the planning of a house.

The project of this house resides in a small area on the site and is only (20×40) sqft in size.  But it has everything for two families of 2-3people each who can comfortably accommodate in such a house:

Kitchen 

When planning any house, it's vital to initially decide the location of the kitchen, based on Vastu, south-east is the principal choice for the kitchen and north-west is the second option. Both choices are viewed as right from the kitchen esteem.we simply need to see which choice is better for this house plan . In this house plan we have given kitchen in the east-south direction.

In this 800 sq ft house plan, The size of the kitchen is 8'×8' ft . On the right side of the kitchen, there is living room. One window for kitchen is given toward parking area.

Staircase

One thing to be kept in mind  while planning the staircase is that the stairs  should always rotate in the clockwise direction of the clock,  its reverse is considered wrong according to Vastu. The stairs should always be in odd numbers like 17,19,21. The size of a single stair  should be something like this - the width of the stair - at least 3 ', the stair  riser  6 ", the stair depth (tread) - 11" This is a minimum standard size, you can do more or less according to the size of the plot. 

In this 800 sq ft house plan, Starting from the main gate, there is a staircase of 3’2" feet wide and on the right side of this house plan beside the staircase, 18'6"×12'4" feet space for parking area has left.

In that parking space, there is the main door to enter the living room of the house.

Drawing Hall /Living Area

The drawing hall is primely made for the guests and there are two types of guests, one who comes to the inside of the house and one who doesn't come inside of the house and due to this I think  the drawing  room Should be at the entrance of the house.The drawing room should come at the time of entering. There should never be a drawing hall in the last part of the house.People will not be disturbed as we have given in this house plan.

In this 20 feet by 40 feet house plan, The size of the living hall is 9’1.5"×17'5" feet. It has one window toward parking area. After the living room, there is a common toilet bath  and dining area.

Dining Area

The dining area should be close to the kitchen and while planning it  should be made such as under the interior stairs or in front of the interior stairs. This makes good use of the space in front of or under the interior stairs and as you can see that in this house plan , we are taking the dining table close to the kitchen beside living room.

In this 20 feet by 40 feet house plan, The size of the dining area is 10'6"×7' feet. It has one window. 

Toilet and Bath Area

In this 20×40 house plan, The size of the common toilet bath is 8'x8' feet.  It has one window toward vent area.

Bedroom 

In this 20 by 40 feet 1bhk (each floor)two story house plan, the size of bedroom is 10'1.5"×11' feet and it has one window toward vent area.

Open Duct/ Vent Area

Backside of  house and beside bedroom, there is an open duct or vent area of 10'1.5"×3' feet for ventilation purposes. Ventilators are provided to bedroom and  common toilet bath for ventilation purposes.

The concept of simple forms continues in home glazing: a small number of windows and their size provide adequate sunlight in all rooms, while not burdening with high costs.
